DHCP | Introduction to Juniper and JNCIA Part 4

DHCP is important in any network. In a branch network, it’s common to configure this on the switch.
There are two ways this could be done. The switch can be the DHCP server itself, or it might relay DHCP messages to another server.
In either case, we need to start with an interface with an IP. This can be a physical interface, or a virtual VLAN-based interface.
After this, it’s a simple matter to either configure a pool and various attributes, or configure the server forward DHCP messages to.
