Parallels Desktop vs VMWare Fusion – PERFORMANCE Comparison! Who WON?
Something I get asked about a lot – what should I use for Virtualisation/Virtualization, VMWare Fusion or Parallels Desktop? Well, hopefully this video will help you work that out!
In this video I do some performance comparisons side by side of Parallels Desktop 15 and VMWare Fusion 11. You can see how they do the same thing, and what the performance looks like in the real world.
The tests and demos were carried out on a 2017 iMac Pro with 8 Cores & 64Gb of RAM. The machines were running on the internal SSD.
VMWare vs Parallels has been a long running battle – competition is good though, it drives innovation…So long may it continue.
