UDP is unhappy with BJP MLA Sanbor Shullai's behaviour

Cabinet Minister and senior BJP leader, Sanbor Shullai has come under heavy fire from United Democratic Party (UDP) after the BJP legislator allegedly intervened when the Speaker of the Assembly, Metbah Lyngdoh was addressing the gathering to host the NDA presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu in Orchid Lake Resort on Wednesday.

On Friday afternoon, reports were out on social media that when Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh who is also the President of UDP, raised the issue of atrocities against Christians in the state and urged Murmu to ensure that such incidents should not happen, Shullai intervened and stated that no such incidents have taken place

The incident was also confirmed by BJP MLA AL Hek in an interview with a local channel

Taking strong note of the incident, United Democratic Party held an emergent meeting here on Friday and condemned the actions of the BJP legislator. .
