How to set up an AdHoc WiFi network in Windows 10 & 8 | #adhoc #ad-hoc



Since Windows 8.1, Microsoft limited support for Adhoc Wifi networks. In this video you will learn how to connect AdHoc device using Windows command shell.
Commands used –
To see all networks in range : netsh wlan show networks
To setup profile :
• Windows 8: netsh wlan set profileparameter defaultSSID connectiontype=ibss
• Windows 10: netsh wlan set profileparameter defaultSSID connectiontype=ibss connectionmode=manual
To connect : netsh wlan connect defaultSSID
To disconnect : netsh wlan disconnect
To delete profile : netsh wlan delete profile defaultSSID
