Red Hat Says Farewell to CentOS

Red Hat shocked the ecosystem by effectively discontinuing the popular CentOS project abruptly this week. We discuss what happened and what it means for users and organizations, especially those who just re-platformed to CentOS 8 over the last year. Perhaps the most shocking thing is that Red Hat did not give its users a great alternative. This was a very strange way to handle the news especially given the maturity of the Red Hat and IBM organizations.
