Intel N5105 4 x 2.5G Ethernet Router PC (Intel I225-V) - Unboxing & Quick Overview

This powerful x86 Router PC comes with the Intel N5105 quad-core CPU. The base frequency is 2.0GHz and it can reach up to 2.9GHz. The PC has 2 SO-DIMM RAM slot and supports up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM.
The highlight of this router is the 4 x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports (Intel I225-V Rev 03), M.2 NMVe, SATA 3 and Mini-PCIe connection. The Mini-PCIe slot also supports USB LTE module in Mini-PCIe connector. With the onboard Nano SIM card slot, you can can easily add 5G/4G/LTE cellular connection to the PC.
The PC Router was shipped with a 12V/3A power adapter. With Ubuntu running on the M.2 NVMe drive, the power consumption is only 10W during idle.
I spent $110 to get buy barebone (no RAM/SSD, shipping included) from Taobao and it took 2 weeks to arrive. You can also find the product on AliExpress but the selling price will be higher.
In the next videos, I am going to test out the router pc’s performance with OpenWRT (boot from USB) and perhaps VMware EXSI/Promox. Stay tuned!
