How To Find WiFi Password on iPhone With iOS 16

In this video we’ll look at how you can now easily find and view your WiFi password on an iPhone.

If you’re connected to your WiFi currently, and maybe someone else needs to connect or you need to connect another device, but can’t remember your password, you can now easily view the saved password inside of the WiFi Settings.

But before we begin, you must be updated to the latest iOS version, iOS 16. To check your iOS version, just head into the Settings app. Inside of here, scroll down and tap General, and then Software Update. If you haven’t updated yet, you can start the process here.

Once you’re on iOS 16, let’s look at how to find your saved WiFi password.

First, open the Settings app.

Next, make sure your WiFi is on and you’re connected to the network you want to get the password for. Do this by tapping WiFi and connecting to the network you want.

On the right of the WiFi networks name, tap the i, or info, icon.

Now inside of here you’ll see Password, and to the right it will be hidden. Tap the hidden text, and unlock your device with face or touch ID. It will then display your WiFi’s password.

You can then copy your password, share it, or enter it into the new device you want to connect.

When you’re finished, you can close the Settings app.

And that’s how you find your saved WiFi passwords on an iPhone using iOS 16.
