Hi, In this video of GENEXIS-GX SOLT33-08p Configuration part 2, i have shown how to assign hostname and Create User and assign them the privilege on GX OLT. In part 1 we have done OLT live and now user creation in part 2.

now let’s configure/assign hostname to OLT:

login in to OLT:
username: admin
Password: saturn
GX-OLT1: enable
GX-OLT1#
GX-OLT1#configure terminal
GX-OLT1(config)#hostname technicalhakim-OLT1
technicalhakim-OLT1(config)#exit
technicalhakim-OLT1#

User Creation:
Now, let’s create user on this GX-GPON OLT (SLOT33-08p)
lets begin,
login in to OLT;
GX-OLT1: enable
GX-OLT1#
GX-OLT1#configure terminal
GX-OLT1(config)#username technical privilege 15 password 0 hakim //user having highest privilege’s.
GX-OLT1(config)#username tech privilege 1 password 0 123 //user having least privilege’s.
GX-OLT1(config)#exit
GX-OLT1#copy running-config to startup-config //saving the last changes configuration from running configuration to startup configuration.

User Creation is completed, now you can check by logging in the created user credentials.
