.Com, .Co, .Org, .Co.uk, .Net? Watch This Before Choosing Domain!
There are more than 200 domain extensions to choose from today and it’s not always easy to figure out which one is the right one for you.
We dive into when you should use a .com and when you should use a .de, .co.uk, or .org for your site.
There are some use cases for each type of domain extension and it’s important to know when to use the right one. For several reasons.
Your site will have more success in regards to SEO (search engine optimization) if you choose the right domain extension. Google doesn’t really care which one you use but USERS tend to click more often on .com when they are expecting a bigger site.
On the other hand, we see language-specific domain extensions to do well for content that is intended for that country only. Except for when we’re targeting an English speaking audience. I’m talking specifically about countries such as U.K, Australia, Nigeria, South Africa here.
