This week I try to take a page out of Christian Selig’s book, the developer behind the incredible Apollo reddit app. He gives the option in his app to purchase a custom app icon with all the proceeds going to his local SPCA. A great way to leverage development and the community he built around his platform for good. I love the idea and will shamelessly copy that idea and put it in my app.
Unfortunately halfway through getting that done, I had to fight with Apple to even have the ability to add in app purchase to my app. Boy was that fun, I don’t know if that came across so well in the video but that put me in a really bad mood. Oh well, things ended up fine, just a bit a wasted time but things will be better next week. Hope you like it!
