Nvidia Keeps Digging Themselves Into a Bigger Hole

We’re nearing the launch of the RTX 4080 release and this is Nvidia taking the piss to a whole new level. It’s absured that even after AMD unveiled the RX 7900XTX Nvidia hasn’t done anything about its absurd pricing. Retailer have to started to post the card on their websites and some custom models are sitting on the heels of the 4090 which at that point you might as well just but the latter (another play by Nvidia). Either way they win whichever way you look at it and consumers are also to blame for enabling this behavior. There’s no reason to be buying this card over the RX 7900XTX unless you have a fetish for ray tracing. Along with that Nvidia hasn’t made any official statements regarding the RTX 4090 12VHPWR connector melting and we’re seeing more reports each day with people running into this problem. The 4080 12GB will also be making a return as the 4070 Ti and is still going to be overpriced compared to where it should sit traditionally.
