How to Install SQLSERVER 2008 R2 and Enable BIDS in SSMS ??

Hi ,

Today I am going to show you how to connect with sqlserver 2008 r2 and how to manage sqlserver 2008r2?

In previous video we have seen how to install 2008r2..

now we will see how to connect and manage…

see carefully guys…

1)first open ssms(sqlserver management studio) then first time users ,should give servername ,username,password..

next important thing is here ,

ssms provides two types of authentications 1)windows authentiction:it automatically takes out system username and password and connect
2) sqlserver authentication:we have to provide username :sa(default) and password:123(at time of installation we have given)

I will show how to connect ssms using windows authentication first..

now i connected with ssms using windows authentication

next I am going to disconnect ssms and connect with sqlserver authentication..

we connected ssms sucessfully sqlserver authentication.

at the time of installation as shown in previous video ,I had shown u how to enable ssrs,ssas,ssis features..

so now we can connect reporting,intigration,analyses services…

i think u got an idea how to connect 1)database engine

2)reporting services 3) intigration services 4)analysis services…

next video , I am going to show how create database,tables,views,stored procedures,triggers,functions…..
