How I Made My First Android App in 2 Days

I know I’ve been making web apps for a while, and that’s because throughout the day, I’m usually sitting at my desk, on my laptop. I might be coding, editing, or just watching Netflix. 📺

But I’ve realized that for those moments pretty much throughout the rest of the day, when I want to pass time or procrastinate, I’m on my phone. In honor of this realization, I wanted try out mobile app development. Specifically, as a proud Android owner since 2015, I want to make Android Apps! 📱

I’ll be following a tutorial to recreate the YouTube app using mock data from an API. By means of this tutorial, I’ll learn all the fundamentals about developing in Android. Stay tuned for more videos about Android dev in the future! 👀
