Just got hired!!! In December I start as a junior software developer in C# back end at a large local company (from a music degree background!). Some family members kept putting me down and through keeping my distance, I was able to concentrate clearly and work consistently towards achieving my goal! Been coding 9 months from January 2022. Eh, I hoped for some actual, concrete differences between Java and C# – what are the concrete advantages of Java, what are the concrete advantages of C#, what do those languages proclaim vs. what they deliver, what is it like to work with the framework that are typicaly used with them…. Based on the title of the video, I expected that (and hoped for).
Although, I do agree with the message of the video – and I guess it actually fits better the that the audience the author is talking to.
The 4×4 vs 911 analogy tells me that in certain circumstances one is definitely better than the other. But that in the most commonly encountered circumstances, both are alright. Is that what you mean?
Java will always be superior. You know why? Because it's not a MS product 😅. MS tends to mess up their own products over time.
Why? Why torture yourself?😅Java into C#… sheesh.
As long as it isn't Ruby

Yes but just try to stay away from PHP
The funny thing for me is that it is more about the IDE that makes one better than another. And with that, Visual Studio has become so powerful and so comprehensive, that this alone makes working with C# better than working with Java. And at this juncture, with .NET on Linux and Xamarin, there is basically nothing you can't do with C#.
(For the record, I am not a giant fan of Microsoft but their development tools are just simply better)
