Hostinger hosting plans are cheap, but what’s the difference between them? Do you need the more powerful plans or your website will fail? When is it time to upgrade? What’s the difference between shared hosting and wordpress hosting. In this video, I’ve tried to answer all of these questions about Hostinger.

► Shared Web Hosting

Well the biggest limitation is the fact that you’ll only be able to create 1 website and have 1 email address. You get around 256MB of ram so that’s enough to handle around ~35 users at the same time. The loading speed however is excellent, it uses the same technology as other Hostinger web servers so you’re getting an incredibly fast website.

Nothing much changes with other shared plans from Hostinger apart from the amount of RAM you have. Premium & Business plans are best for multiple website projects since you can host up to 100 websites. Hostinger Premium plan offers you 512MB of RAM or get around 75 concurrent visitors. The Business plan goes up to 1024 MB of RAM or ~ 145 visitors. Apart from that the loading speed is virtually the same as the cheapest plan. So choose only based on the amount of traffic you plan to get. The other features are the same as well.

► Cloud Web Hosting

Moving on to Hostingers Cloud Hosting, this is where the resources REALLY start ramping up. With their Cloud Hosting plan you’ll get 2 CPU cores and 3000MB of ram. This is best suited for e-commerce stores or large traffic websites since you’ll be able to handle over 400 users at the same time. Loading speed however, is virtually the same as the shared hosting plans (which is pretty much as fast as you can get). Cloud Hosting offers no additional features.

► WordPress Web Hosting

Most companies advertise “WordPress specific” hosting to appeal to beginners. However, in my testing there’s VERY little difference between their standard shared hosting plans and the WordPress hosting plans. Your WordPress website will work on every plan that Hostinger is offering. So, don’t be tricked into thinking you need WordPress specific hosting. Hostingers plans have been optimized to well that you can just buy the cheaper option at the time.
