Children’s Book Author Poisons Husband, Writes “Script” Of Lies? Nancy Grace on Kouri Richins

The woman who penned a children’s book about grief to help her sons process their father’s death after she allegedly poisoned him with Fentanyl, is now facing witness tampering charges. Correctional officers discovered a 6-page letter from Kouri Richins to her brother Ronney that provides direction for his and their mother’s testimony. Titled “Walk the dog,” Richins’ letter describes how Ronney should testify that Eric Richins told him that he scores drugs from workers on a Mexican ranch and was considering asking their housekeeper if she could get him more. Richins goes on to describe more ‘evidence’ that could work in her favor, and tells Ronney to pass further instruction to her mother in person to avoid any possible bugs. Nancy Grace hosts a panel of experts to analyze Richins’ claims the letter is part of a 65-page fictitious novel ‘loosely’ based on her husband’s death.
