Intel Core i3 1215U Intel UHD Graphics 25 GAMES TESTED IN 08/2022 (8GB RAM)

I was testing 25 games on the Intel Core i3 1215U (i3 1210U), its integrated UHD Graphics, and 8GB single channel ram. For a single-channel RAM system, the performance has been pretty well. Nevertheless would still recommend upgrading to 16GB dual-channel.

Tested system:
⭐HP Laptop – 15s-fq5735ng⭐
▪Intel Core i3 1215U (12. Generation)
🔹basically the same performance as i3 1210U🔹
▪8 GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM (1 x 8 GB) single-channel
▪512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD
▪Intel UHD Graphics
▪Windows 11 Home
😀Gameplay got captured with an external capture card – no loss in FPS performance 😀

Hello everyone. Welcome to a new video on this channel. This time we’re looking at a brand new product. The HP 15S laptop features an Intel Core i3 12th generation processor, the 1215U, which is essentially the same as the i3 1210U, 8 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz single-channel RAM, 512 GB of PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage, and integrated Intel UHD Graphics.
In this video, we’re going to have a look at 25 games. First things first, we’re testing a single-channel RAM system in this video. This means performance in games can be increased easily by upgrading this system to dual-channel. But in my opinion, it’s still very important to make a detailed video of this system with single-channel RAM. Because that is probably the configuration that you’re also going to find very often when searching for a system with an Intel Core i3 1215U or 1210U. Because the i3 is still an entry-level CPU, manufacturers are going to try to save as much money as possible in production. As a result, the cheapest option for you is single-channel RAM.
But nevertheless, I’ve got to be honest with you, I was well surprised positively by the performance of the i3 1215U and its integrated UHD Graphics. The performance has been pretty good for a system with only single-channel RAM. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a powerhouse that is going to allow you to play games like Warzone, Forza Horizon 5, or F1 2022. These games didn’t launch properly due to an insufficient amount of RAM. With 16GB, these games would’ve launched and probably also been OK playable. But this is something for an upcoming video. Because I’m going to upgrade this system to 16GB dual-channel very soon and make the test of 25 games again.
All in all, I can say the i3-1215U is good enough for light gaming in 2022. And that’s also what it was invented for. So for this purpose, I can totally recommend this tiny little fella. You’re basically able to play all the common ESport titles, but also older games like The Witcher 3 and Skyrim are going to run well. Also, temperature-wise, the i3 left a very good impression. But see for yourself and have a look at the 25 games that I’ve tested.
That’s it for my voiceover. I hope you’re going to like this video. If you do, feel free to leave a like and consider subscribing to this channel. I’ll hopefully see you all in the next one. Stay safe and have a great day. Goodbye.
