The Most Gruesome Python Attack Ever Recorded

In August 2013, in a cozy town in New Brunswick, Canada, two young brothers, Connor and Noah Barthe, embarked on what they thought would be a regular childhood adventure. They happily headed over to their friend’s place next door for a playdate that soon turned into a nightmare.
Their day began with the innocent joy of visiting a farm and playing with animals. After their farm adventure, they returned to their friend’s apartment, which was right above a reptile store called Reptile Ocean. The store was owned by Jean-Claude Savoie, and it was a place filled with fascinating reptiles and creatures that captured the boys’ imagination.
Jean-Claude Savoie was seen as someone who knew a lot about reptiles, and he seemed to take good care of them. Among the animals he had was a massive 13-foot African Rock python, a snake that would become a part of a tragic story.
This python had been found by the Canadian Wildlife Service years earlier, and they were trying to find it a new home. They initially wanted to send it to the Magnetic Hill Zoo in Moncton, but the zoo couldn’t provide a suitable enclosure at the time. So, Jean-Claude decided to take the snake in. Little did anyone know that this seemingly kind act would lead to a heartbreaking incident a decade later.
