How to install Deepin Desktop Environment in Ubuntu!

Hello everyone! Today we’re going to show you how you can install the Deepin Desktop Environment in Ubuntu!

We’ll be conducting this tutorial on Ubuntu 21.10, but this should work with any version.

Deepin is popularly known perhaps as a BEAUTIFUL Linux distibution, which contains excellent animations, popular windowing managers, and much more! What some people may not know, is that Deepin can also be installed as a Desktop Environment!

We’ll be installing the Deepin Desktop Environment in Ubuntu (in our case version 21.10), a Linux Distro founded and maintained by Canonical.

To install the Deepin DE in Ubuntu, there a few Terminal commands which need to be executed. You’ll be guided on that procedure throughout the video.

Here are the commands we’ll be using:

1. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntudde-dev/stable
2. sudo apt-get install ubuntudde-dde
