Can the Steam Deck run Cyberpunk 2.0? – SteamOS 3.5 Gameplay
Today we are checking out the new Patch 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 on the Steam Deck. The Steam Deck is also running the Beta Preview of SteamOS 3.5 which comes with a few tweaks and improvements to performance amongst other things. I will be showing a bit of gameplay running the lowest settings and with FSR set to Ultra Performance.
Unfortunately in combat the Deck still struggles to keep a steady frame at 800p resolution. Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 also uses the CPU more than the previous version and this gets the Deck a lot hotter and very fast. Cyberpunk 2077 is still an enjoyable experience with 30 FPS on the Steam Deck, but the game is best enjoyed on a higher screen and with better graphical fidelity in my opinion.
