Building the Hasegawa 1/72 F-14A Tomcat High Visibility Full Scale Model Build

Hello everyone and thanks for watching my video! In this video I will build the Hasegawa 1/72 F-14A High Visibility Tomcat. This is an older kit (tooled in 1977) with raised panel lines. It goes together very well and I had a lot of fun building this kit. It was nice to have something cool to build when I was locked up with Covid for a couple of weeks! You get two different squadron markings with the kit: VF-84 “Jolly Rogers” and VF-111 “Sundowners.” I opted for the Sundowners. The kit comes with four Phoenix missiles, two Sidewinders, and two Sparrow missiles. There are also two crew figures. The decals are nicely printed and react well with setting solution. I mostly used Vallejo Model Air paints on this model. I did a bit of weathering with Flory clay-based washes. I hope you enjoy the video. Please leave comments and check out some of my other model videos. Take care! Drew
