F-14A TOMCAT US.NAVY 1/48 Scale Full Build (Academy)

This is a video of F-14A assembly and painting.
The Academy 1/48 scale Tomcat was first released in 1988.
Lacquer paint and enamel are used, and brush paint is acrylic paint.

1.Perhaps many people feel that this kit is not as good as the latest F-14’s cool plastic models.
The kit(1/48 scale) is old and not renewed (as of January 2020), so the F-14 kit lacks details compared to other Tamiya and other kits, and the shape of the head has a different curve than the actual one. .
But I’ve seen this kit in stores as a boy in the 80’s, but I have memories I’ve never made.
The kit reminded me of my boyhood.

2. Air fighters are generally kept clean, but many of the navy aircraft that have been around for a long time are quite dirty. The F-14 is a naval ship with four upgrades: A, B, C and D. Operated for 20 to 30 years, the F-14, like other naval aircraft, is affected by the sea’s appearance and weathering.Of course, there are also many modern naval aircraft that are all kept clean.

3.The middle frame of the Wild Shield is painted. The middle frame of the windshield clear part of the kit was dimmed invisible, probably because the mold is old. So I thought it would be better to mask only that part separately after completion. I was busy with work and it was late. Thank you
