The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 server operates on DDR4 memory. The DL360 Gen10 server has a total of 24 DIMM slots. The white slots are the start of a memory channel. The black slots are the 2nd slot of the channel. There are two DIMM slots per channel, and each CPU controls 12 DIMM slots. Module speed options include 2133MT/s, 2400MT/s, 2666MT/s, 2933MT/s, and 3200MT/s. The CPU that you have installed will determine that fastest speed that your modules will run at. 2933MT/s and 3200MT/s DIMMs will only work with your HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 server if it has a 2nd generation scalable processor. Even with the latest BIOS and top of the line Intel 2nd gen scalable processors, you still cannot reach a true 3200MT/s speed. They will just clock down and work at 2933MT/s. Module capacity options include: 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The DL360 Gen10 accepts two types of RAM: ECC Registered (RDIMM), Load Reduced (LRDIMM). When using Load Reduced memory, you can achieve an overall greater RAM capacity. With RDIMMs, you can achieve 1.5TB with a configuration of 24x64GB at 2933MT/s. With LRDIMMs, you can reach 3TB with 24x128GB, also with a max speed of 2933MT/s.
