How to Setup Valheim Dedicated Server – Linux
In this video I go over how to setup a Valheim Dedicated Server on Linux (Ubuntu Server Edition 20.04.2 LTS).
CORRECTION: At one point in the video I mention that not specifying a force_install_dir will put all files in /usr/games/steam. This is not correct. Steamcmd installs to this directory, but not the dedicated server files. The files will install under your user folder in the .steam folder (/home/username/.steam/steamapps/common/’Valheim Dedicated Server’)
