Why I am LEAVING Neovim After 4 Years For VSCode

I’m excited to discuss a significant shift in my coding environment as I transition from using Neovim to VS Code, after four incredible years with Neovim.

Throughout my programming career, Neovim has been my faithful companion, providing a robust and customizable editing experience. Its minimalist design, extensibility, and unparalleled speed allowed me to delve deep into my code, focusing solely on what truly mattered – the logic and creativity behind it.

However, as the development landscape evolves, so do our requirements. After careful consideration, I decided to give Visual Studio Code (VS Code) a chance, drawn by its massive community, expansive ecosystem, and refined user interface. This switch marks a new chapter in my coding journey, as I embrace the versatility and power that VS Code promises.

In this video, I’ll take you through my thought process behind this transition and highlight the key features that convinced me to make the switch.
