Using VIM Abbreviations When Editing Perl

Save time when editing files by adding abbreviations to you ~/.vimrc file. If you use vim as your text editor there are many customizations that you can make in the .vimrc file created in your home directory. These include abbreviations or short text to be replaced with longer text. In this way we can easily add standard headers to Perl scripts by typing something as short as _pl
