Review: Taito Milestones 2 (Switch) - Defunct Games

Defunct Games reviews Taito Milestones 2 by ININ Games, available now on the Nintendo Switch.

Featuring ten arcade classics spanning 1984 to 1992, Taito Milestones 2 is another solid mix of big and small titles from the hit-maker. Between Darius II, Metal Black, Gun Frontier and Kiki Kaikai, there are some great shoot ‘em ups in the package, as well as popular action games like The New Zealand Story and The Legend of Kage. Sure, the quality of the line-up is a bit hit or miss, but the real problem is the expensive asking price and barebones approach. With no extra content and only so-so games, Taito Milestones 2 is not worth $40.
