ESO – Stamina Dragonknight 129.5k PvE DPS Build – U39
Hey everyone! I’m back with a Dragonknight video for update 39. I have a couple different parse setups in this video. The first being a bow/bow stam dk build and the second being a “traditional” MagDk setup. With the changes to bow in update 39, its become quite strong. On the other hand, the status effect damage nerfs to dk this patch cause magdk to take a pretty large hit on the dummy. Damage is down about 3-4k over last patch on this setup. Within content, magdk is still very much a powerhouse. Contrary to nightblade’s damage being overinflated on the dummy, magdk’s damage is underinflated. Fights with burst phases allow for a higher percentage of the fight to take place while a standard is down. So magdk’s lower dps output on the dummy compared to other classes isn’t as scary as it initially looks.

Green stam food is barely sustainable. You are forced to throw in a couple extra whips to sustain as I basically bottomed out twice in the video. In order to make it easier, I recommend just running lava foot for just a small dps loss. If you dont want to use ulti pots, then just run tri pots for about a 4k dps loss.
The longer dots on dk make the rotation pretty simple when using this setup. Just keep your dots up and spam lethal arrow between dot casts. Cast whip to barswap as trying to swap off of lethal arrow is quite difficult. Ideally, you should only cast whip with 2 or 3 seething fury stacks. Casting with only 1 stack or 0 is a pretty hefty damage loss over a lethal arrow cast when using the vateshran bow.
Kortekk was able to get similar results when using both the maelstrom bow as well as when using a pillar of nirn bow on the front bar. So a variety of different bow/bow setups are all very juicy on the dummy.

As I stated earlier, the status effect change for dragonknights this patch is definitely felt on the dummy. Expect this setup to do 3-4k less dps then last patch. I used max mag food in this parse but if you’re having mag sustain issues then swap to ghastly.
The rotation hasn’t changed from before. Just make sure to keep up all of your dots and proc nirn on cooldown. If you need to recast a dot a second or two early to keep nirn up, then that is fine. Fill the remaining gaps with talon casts and whips…..and of course keep degen up for the buff (please zos give us igneous on the dummy).
