This is the first of many for a new series called, Web3Quickies 💫. This series will give you fast 💨 and practical 📖 coding quickstarts in the Web3 space. I’ll either create the quickstart tutorial from scratch or use the quickstart tutorial provided by the Web3 protocol. Today we’re starting with Near Protocol and their Javascript Smart Contract quickstart tutorial.

Javascript is a great programming language to learn if you want to learn how to code but don’t know which programming language is the best one to learn 🤔. It’s great for both front-end and back-end development and can be used in a variety of applications. 🙌

Near protocol is one of the few blockchains that let you create apps using Javascript/Typescript. Can you think of another blockchain protocol that allows this?
