In this video we take a look at getting the absolute best performance out of Starfield on the handhelds. We take a look at using the ASUS ROG Ally, Steam Deck as well as the 3080 XG Mobile and the 6850 XG Mobile.
We will look at different settings and their effects on performance. As well I share my recommended settings for handheld play. As always they are time stamped out so you can skip my babbling. If you do enjoy listening, I hope I have shown why I feel the performance is playable on the ASUS ROG Ally, and to a slightly lesser extent, on the Steam Deck.
We have tested using the New Atlantis city as this was widely reported as a heavy demanding area in the game.
Finally I will make my final recommendation on how to best play Starfield on the ROG Ally.
