Linked Playthrough | Part 10: The Ancient Tomb & Hero’s Cave

NOTE: Two things. First, if you want more of this, please show your support towards this channel. Second, this is a continuation from my previous playthrough, Oracle of Seasons.

This is a big one so be sure to listen up.

First up we tackle the Level 8 dungeon, the Ancinet Tomb. This will truthfully test your knowledge on the game and it’ll spare no expense. Of course it’s a bit trivial due to the rewind Switch Online has but don’t let it get to you. Believe me. You’ll need the item that’s in this dungeon, the Power Glove. It’s so bad. Yes, I had to make the joke.

The Power Glove’s needed to take down the boss of this dungeon, Ramrock. But it’s a multi-phase fight. Phase one requires you to send his fists back at him with his sword. Phase two requires you to throw bombs at it’s hands. It’ll try to crush you but if it hits the bomb, it takes damage. Phase 3 replaces his hands with shields. You need to use the Seed Shooter to fire seeds at it so it can hit from behind. After enough hits, it’ll enter it’s final phase. It gets two cannons for arms with each carrying a Heavy Ball attached with a chain. If it enters it’s line of sight, it’ll throw a ball at you. You need to use the Power Glove on the other Ball, pull it back and then release. It’ll hurt Ramrock. Do it three more times and the fight is over.

With that done, we get a Heart Container and get the last Essence of Time, the Falling Star. With all 8, we’re set to take on Veran. But there’s one last loose end. This next dungeon is exclusive to a Linked playthrough. It’s the Hero’s Cave. In Oracle of Ages, the Hero’s Cave will test your mettle if you want to reach the end and get your hands on the Level 3 Armor Ring. Don’t take my word for it. It was strenous but once you beat it, it’s worth it.

Part 11 is the finale. An endgame of massive proportions as we confront Veran, take her down and complete the story by stopping Twinrova from reviving Ganon.
