In this video we will see setting up a UniFi router, access point, and switch from scratch involves a series of steps to ensure a seamless and reliable network infrastructure. Below is a general guide to help you get started:

1. Gather Equipment:
– Make sure you have the necessary UniFi networking devices: a UniFi router, access point, and switch. Also, ensure you have an Ethernet cable, a computer for configuration, and the UniFi Controller software installed or hosted on a cloud instance in this video I have used HostiFi UniFi controller https://hostifi.com

2. Reset to factory default:
– Make sure all the UniFi equipment are properly reset to default using paperclip by pressing the reset button 1-15 secs.

3. Set Up UniFi Controller:

This software will help you manage and configure your UniFi devices.

4. Connect UniFi Router:
– Connect the WAN port of the UniFi router to your modem using an Ethernet cable. Connect one of the LAN ports to your computer for initial configuration.

5. Access UniFi Controller:
– Open a web browser and enter the IP address Hostname of your UniFi Controller (e.g., https://192.168.1.1:8443). Log in using the credentials you set up during the UniFi Controller installation.

6. Adopt and Configure Router:
– In the UniFi Controller, go to “Devices” and locate your UniFi router under “Pending Devices.” Click “Adopt” to bring it into your network.

7. Add and Configure Switch:

– In the UniFi Controller, go to “Devices” and locate your switch under “Pending Devices.” Click “Adopt” to add it.

8. Add and Configure Access Point:
– Connect your UniFi access point to the switch using an Ethernet cable.
– In the UniFi Controller, go to “Devices” and locate your access point under “Pending Devices.” Click “Adopt” to add it.
– Configure the wireless network settings, including SSID, security, and channel settings.

8. Set Up Wireless Networks:
– In the UniFi Controller, navigate to “Settings” go to “WiFi.” Create the WiFi network you want to offer, specifying SSID, security, and VLAN settings.

9. Monitor and Test:
