Picture the scene, it’s 2016 and Mr Matt Lee finally gets his first ‘serious’ gaming PC but didn’t actually build it himself.
I remember seeing the Manta case for the first time and thinking to myself how beautiful those curved lines and overall design language was for the year. Fast forward 7 years and that particular build had long gone, but the memories had been resonating with me ever since.
Of course, I wasn’t on YouTube back in 2016 so there’s no way I could’ve been here to build and share this with you then… But here we are in 2023, and after a long and tiring search process I’ve been able to fulfil my own desires. To be able to unbox and build a brand new NZXT Manta which utilises modern hardware has been a real emotion driven journey which I’m so stoked to bring you guys along with me for!

7 years may have elapsed since the initial launch of the NZXT Manta, but time has been kind to this chassis and it still looks modern with iconic styling. There’s a lot to love with this one and It’ll always retain a special place in my studio!
Imagine if NZXT brought back the Manta but as a V2 with a mesh front and top panel? Would you own that?! Let me know in the comments! You know what my answer would be…
