STEAM DECK redefining handheld gaming device? One-Year Anniversary User Experience Sharing

#steamdeck redefining handheld gaming device? One-Year Anniversary User Experience Sharing.

Since I got my hands on the Steam Deck, I’ve been asking myself a question: What exactly is the Steam Deck? Is it a highly customized PC? Is it a high-performance gamepad with a display? Is it a gaming console with an operating system? Or has the Steam Deck redefined what a handheld device is in this era?

I pre-ordered the Steam Deck in July 2021, and I received the 256GB SD card in August. From the payment to receiving it, I only waited for two weeks. It’s been almost a year now, and I basically use it every day. Regardless of the duration, sometimes I only turn it on to see what’s new today. Now, I take it with me every time I travel. If I don’t bring it, I feel like something is missing during the journey. It has become an essential device for me, right after my PC, phone, and camera. Maybe I’ll forget to use it while traveling, but I absolutely can’t be without it. It’s become my fourth essential screen after PC, phone, and camera. In today’s video, I want to share my long-term experience of using the Steam Deck, my opinions on it, and my expectations and areas for improvement for the new Steam Deck.

Some well-known aspects like the screen, heating, and fan noise issues, I won’t mention them. I’ll only talk about the issues and opinions I personally encountered.
