In order to setup a subdomain in GoDaddy you will need to go into your domain name DNS management.
You can setup a subdomain inside of the records or you can setup the subdomain to forward to a different website address.
I usually get my domain names at GoDaddy using GoDaddy auctions or closeout domain names
