Since no announcement has been made about MX Linux 23, it is unfortunately not possible to obtain information about the version. However, as stated in previous release candidates announcements,Let me remind you that the main change is an updated installer to fix an issue with force formatting of ESP partitions, so the installer must be updated before installing. Based on Debian 12 “Bookworm”, the release includes all bug fixes and changes to date, including default wallpapers and themes, as well as updated translations and apps. While many bugs related to Btrfs installations were fixed, the system; Xfce 4.18 is available with the KDE Plasma 5.27 and Fluxbox 1.3.7 desktop environments. It should be noted that pipewire & wireplumber are now used instead of pulseaudio in all versions, while UFW firewall is enabled by default. It is stated that the live boot menus now have a more prominent “check media” functionality in the top-level menu.It is stated that all versions now include orca screen reader and a screen magnification tool.
