RDNA 4 DETAILS REVEALED – AMD’s Plan To DEFEAT Nvidia
AMD recently had an interview, and they discussed their plans for RDNA 4 and their plan to DEFEAT Nvidia. We examine all the RDNA 4 details revealed in this interview, and what kind of expectations we should have for RX 8000’S improvements in architecture, hardware specs, and of course – the all important gaming and ray tracing performance. But will RDNA 4 REALLY be able to defeat RTX 50 / RTX Blackwell GPUs from Nvidia? Nvidia are sure to bring their own revolutions and evolutions from RTX 40.
AMD also discusssed how they COULD have released a more powerful RDNA 3 flagship (the RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT), but chose not to. As you may be aware, there were A LOT of reports that RX 7000 did not meet AMDs goals for clock speed and performance, and it certainly did not impress after the months of leaks and rumours surrounding RDNA 3. But will they be able to stop history from repeating itself with RDNA 4?
