Grains and oilseeds, like maize, wheat, soya and sunflower, play a big role in our lives. Firstly, they are important staple foods and also used for animal feed. This week we celebrate our developing grain farmers and the partners that support them. We also visit Andries van der Poll, winner of the 2019 Grains SA New Era Commercial Farmer of the Year award.
