Compared to the 20GB needed for the conventional installation, it only uses a meagre 8GB of storage; you may even reduce that 8GB by compressing the system files. Although there have been instances where it ran with even less memory, specifically 200 MB, the system was obviously incredibly slow and might even get BSODs.
