PC Gaming over USB C…? Why was NVidia's Virtual Link ABANDONED?

DisplayPort over USB C, is it laggy or any there any negatives to gaming? DisplayPort 1.4 alternate mode is a feature offered on some GPUs with a USB C Port. Though does it work well for gaming and or convenience? Let’s find out!
