Jaringan Komputer (TCP vs UDP) | Administrasi Infrastruktur Jaringan (AIJ)

Video ini membahas tentang protokol pada jaringan komputer, yaitu perbedaan antara protokol TCP dengan UDP.

TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) bersifat Connection-oriented, sementara UDP (User Datagram Protocol) bersifat Connectionless-oriented.

Protokol-protokol yang termasuk dalam TCP, diantaranya:
– World Wide Web (HTTP, HTTPS)
– Email (SMTP, IMAP/POP)
– File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
– Telecommunication Network (TELNET)
– Secure Shell (SSH)

Protokol-protokol yang termasuk dalam UDP, diantaranya:
– Network Time Protocol (NTP)
– Domain Name Service (DNS)
– Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP)
– Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)

UDP digunakan pada aplikasi-aplikasi yang membutuhkan kecepatan dan efisiensi, seperti:
– VoIP
– Video Streaming
– dll
