This Apache Tomcat 8 tutorial for beginners will show you how to install Tomcat on windows server 2016. Although the version of apache tomcat is a tomcat 8 version, the instructions should work for most versions of tomcat and be the same for windows 10.

In this tomcat tutorial you will first download Tomcat.

Next you will unzip Tomcat.

You will then install Tomcat as a service on windows.

Finally you will test if Tomcat is working by navigating to the tomcat homepage.
