Switch 2
A source who leaked the existence of Metroid Dread says a Spanish studio has already received a Switch 2 dev kit, and many assume it’s MercurySteam.
Although Nintendo itself refuses to comment on new hardware, everyone knows that its next console is in the works and that at the very least it’s likely to be announced next year, if not released then.
If this is the case, it’s safe to assume that many studios already have dev kits (the modified consoles used to make games), so they can start producing titles for the Nintendo Switch 2 – or whatever Nintendo ends up calling it.
According to one source, an unnamed Spanish studio already has a dev kit and given there’s only really one famous Spanish developer that has a history with Nintendo that seems very likely to be Metroid Dread maker MercurySteam.
Refurbished:
If you are waiting to try out a Steam Deck in person before committing to a purchase, that wait may be over soon. In a Reddit post by L10NxH34RT, a photo was posted that showed a piece of paper with mentions that refurbished Steam Decks are coming to Gamestop.

The flier shows the Steam Deck being introduced, in select stores, along with some details regarding the device itself including the touchscreen, trackpads, gyro, and software associated with Steam. It also goes over the prices of the refurbished devices, as well as their SKUs:
64gb – $320
256gb – $430
512gb – $519
It also has a spot with recommended attachments for the Steam Deck including MicroSD cards, Valve’s docking station, and Steam gift cards.
While we can’t confirm this is completely real, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see something like this finally popping up. I did also search the SKUs and nothing popped up, which means none of them are taken by another product. The background does show some labels on the left side, which leads me to believe it was taken in the back room at a Gamestop, but again, we aren’t 100% sure just yet.
If you are confident about getting a Steam Deck and don’t want to wait, you can buy a new one from Valve right now on Steam! They are also discounted during the Summer Sale, so you can get them at reduced prices for the next 20 hours! The 512gb is about the same as the speculated refurbished pricing.
