Soil is Life - Part III Inspiration from a beautiful Italian Regenerative Farm

Regenerative Agriculture is not a method. It is a way of looking at things. “It is an approach, and within this approach, there will be appropriate practices depending on the crop, soil, environment and climate. From this field to that one over there, we use a completely different method of cultivation for the same crop, but the approach is the same.”

In this third video about the Iside Farm located at Lago Iseo in Italy, Matteo Mazzola shows us that nature does not waste anything. The whole system that he and his partner Paola are setting up is based on biomimicking nature and trying to create natural productive systems. The vision is to study, to experiment and get as close as possible to nature’s behaviour, productiveness and efficiency, and in the process enable the amazing ecological services that nature gives the biosphere.
