MS-DOS Networking with the Microsoft Network Client



In this video we discuss MS-DOS networking with the Microsoft Network Client

We will need:
dos packet driver Some manufacturers still offer dos network drivers from their website

Microsoft Network Client 3.0 This can be found on the windows nt 4.0 server Installation disc

network driver interface specification (NDIS 2.0) driver for Ethernet network card.

First we take a look at our config.sys file as we will be making changes to it and the autoexec.bat file. Next we install the microsoft network client. then we check if we are pulling the mac address and ping the default gateway

For demonstration we are using ms dos 6.22
