Delphi | New Documents Allege That Suspect Richard Allen Confessed to His Wife
Judge Frances Gull has just unsealed more than 100 documents in the Delphi case after a motion was filed to have them made public. In today’s video, we will review the one that alleges that Richard Allen confessed to his wife that he murdered Abby and Libby. Prosecutor McCleland alluded to this confession in a hearing on June 15th, 2023. His trial is scheduled for January 8th, 2024 and is expected to last three weeks.

Previously: Richard Allen’s attorneys have requested their client is moved from the Westville Correctional Facility to the Cass County Jail, or somewhere closer to them and his family, where he will also be treated as a suspect who is innocent until proven guilty.
CASE BACKGROUND: Richard M. Allen, 50, was arrested on October 28th, 2022 and charged with 2 counts of murder in the Delphi case. Abby Williams and Libby German were murdered on February 13th, 2017, and were last seen on the Monon High Bridge. Their bodies were discovered the following day on Ron Logan’s private property.
