Thousands of festivalgoers get ready for Big Red Bash despite wet weather

Thousands of festivalgoers have travelled to the tenth instalment of the Big Red Bash in Birdsville despite the downpour of rain.

The long line of cars, caravans and four-wheel drives made its way to the party as 16 millimetres of rain fell in just 24 hours.
