Despite the massive performance increases Nvidia was able to achieve with their RTX 40 series, almost nobody should consider buying one and here’s why.

Over the years Nvidia has been increasing GPU prices substantially, and now its reached a point where graphics cards have nearly doubled in price in just one generation. For example the 1080 had an MSRP of $600, the 3080 was $700, and now the 4080 is $1,200 which is absolutely ridiculous.

And while it is very fast, if gamers continue to support these absurd price increases this issue will only continue to get worse every generation, until high end graphics cards can only be purchased by the incredibly wealthy. Which is why I’m warning you
