How to install macOS on VMware [macOS on ESXi]

Install macOS onto VMware #esxi: We’ll be covering the steps on how to make a macOS ISO and then install it onto a virtual environment running VMware #esxi
We’ll cover:
– how to download the macOS installer
– converting it to an ISO
– patching the #esxi host
– building the macOS Virtual Machine.

Commands you’ll need –
Creating the macOS ISO
– hdiutil create -o /tmp/monterey -size 15000m -volname monterey -layout SPUD -fs HFS+J
– hdiutil attach /tmp/monterey.dmg -noverify -mountpoint /Volumes/monterey
– sudo /Applications/Install macOS Monterey.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia –volume /Volumes/monterey —nointeraction
– hdiutil detach /volumes/Install macOS Monterey
– hdiutil convert /tmp/monterey.dmg -format UDTO -o ~/Desktop/Monterey.cdr
– mv ~/Desktop/Monterey.cdr ~/Desktop/Monterey.iso

Unlocker and Patching #esxi
