IN THIS VIDEO:
Like to check out various Linux distributions but hate reinstalling all your favorite software? Click the easy button with a simple bash script! And yes, I’m an idiot! The correct “she-bang” format is:
#!/bin/bash — but the script should still work. Live and learn folks 😀

IMPORTANT NOTE: Some distributions may not give you the option to automatically run your script in the Terminal. If not, open up your Terminal app (search “Terminal” in the activities screen or menu). Browse to the location you saved it by entering “cd” (which means change directory) and the folder name (Documents, Desktop, etc).

To display a list of files in your current location, type “ls.”

Then to execute your script, type “./myscriptname”
